The endeavour to establish a University Network on Sport in the Western Balkans region represents a significant opportunity to strategically influence the region’s trajectory while also aligning with EU guidelines for the promotion of active lifestyles, communal cohesiveness, and sustainable development. This project aims to provide specialised training to sports professionals, promoting the progress of personal health agendas while pushing for the spread of basic values including inclusivity, equality, safety, and environmental conscience. This initiative, by including stakeholders from the University for Business and Technology (UBT) and the broader Western Balkans community, particularly its diasporic constituents, has the potential to greatly contribute to the region’s peaceful societal development.
The main perspective of the conference is to connect the scientists and practitioners in the same place and make them aware of the recent advancements in the field of new urbanism from the perspective of resilience, innovation, technology, business and sustainability. This conference is organised on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Kosova independence declaration.”
This conference is one of the major scientific event of the UBT. It will be organized annually and always in cooperation with the partner universities from the region and Europe.
